It was our first experience at Riverside Animal Hospital. We switched from another local vet due to over pricing and inconsistencies in our dogs records. I truthfully never thought anything of my dogs behavior at the other vet as I figured they were just nervous like any other animal at the vet. But when my 2 dogs walked into Riverside it was like they were at home. The tech and the vet sat ON THE FLOOR with my dogs. They didn't lift them onto the hard metal tables. Mind you the vet was visibly pregnant. They gave them a ridiculous number of treats (with my permission of course) and treated my dogs like family. So much so my one dog even rolled over for tummy rubs! I HIGHLY recommend this place for all your animal needs. The cherry on top? They didn't add on pointless services we didn't need. They explained everything thoroughly AND they were still cheaper than our older vet!

My dog loosened her buried sutures from her previous mass removal in another city by another vet and Riverside was one of the only vets in Kearney that was willing to work on another surgeons work! They squeezed her in emergency the same day for surgery, took great care of her, the wound looks great and gave her some extra meds to help keep her calm while she is healing. I'm so happy with my experience. The office was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. 1rst photo: when my dog loosened the sutures 2nd photo: after re-suturing with edges freshened up to promote healing 3rd photo: after 1rst surgery- was already coming a by loose because my dog is very high energy

Called about my 12 year dog that was having hip issues and couldn’t walk, was told could do a drop off in the next day or 2 and to call back if things got worse…..wonder why I called in first place…..
