If I could do negative stars I would! I took my puppy in because he had been vomiting clear mucus. She checked him over said that he didn’t appear to have any signs of parvo. I was concerned of dehydration. She said he looks like he is “okay” gave me a plastic syringe to help keep him hydrated, a shot of antibiotics and nausea meds. She also did not have any parvo tests on hand but said that she could do bloodwork and send it off to the lab and that it would take a few days. I questioned if she was concerned if he could have parvo she reassured me that he doesn’t have any signs of it. Through the night he got worse.. called a vet in Cheyenne and took him. They told us to stay in the vehicle when we got there while we waited for results of parvo. It came back positive. Everything was handled in my vehicle. They gave him everything that they possibly could. Sent us home with fluids and other meds. We got home gave him his second round of fluids. He responded well to them. Went to go give him his 3rd round and he died infront of my mother and I. It If Mimi was any sort of professional she should have sent us elsewhere for a second opinion. She should have things on hand. He would have had more of a fighting chance. Hopefully she has sanitized everything in that office because my parvo puppy roamed freely while I was paying. He was around the pet foods and drank from the water bowl. I will never return, my business will be in Cheyenne at the vet clinic where THEY did everything in their power to help save him! You shouldn’t be practicing on household pets AT ALL Mimi.

My dog has terminal cancer. The vet couldn't seem to do a simple blood draw under sedation, (my new vet did one no problem with him awake!) then proceeded to make mean, rude, insensitive comments about my situation,. I'm not sure if she realized how close I came to hitting her? !! Incompetent and unprofessional !!
