I'll never go anywhere else. Never have to wonder if their staff cares about your fur baby. You can tell everyone here is here for the right reasons and loves their job! ***update*** I have been taking my pets to Optimum since 2010, and my family even longer than that. I live on the opposite side of town now, SW40th and W A area, its literally 25 minutes away, its worth every minute of extra driving. When we lost both of our senior dogs within 3 weeks of one another, our hearts were shattered. Bug didn't cross the bridge at Optimum, but Teddy did. The care they showed in those last moments still make me teary eyed. They loved our boy just as we did, they shed tears, gave us all the time we needed even after they were ready to go home for the day. That alone was amazing and we'll always be thankful for those moments. But what truly made a difference was picking up Teddy's ashes a few days later. We had requested a clay paw print, wanting to always keep his precious toe beans with us, they made a beautiful paw print with his name neatly stamped beneath. When I flipped it over, I laughed for the first time in weeks since losing our babies. They had stamped his silly nicked name, "Professor Theodore J Ruffington" on the back side, I cried as I laughed and it was like our silly boy was saying "Hi". Neither of us remember even saying his nickname aloud. They picked up on such a small detail of our pups life and for that, I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They just get it, they love your pets like the family they are and it reflects in ever level of their care.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gealow and Optimum Vet. Dr. Gealow has always given us her true opinion with our Belgian Malinois. We have had very minor things come up with our dog, but when they do Dr. Gealow has always been so honest. We just recently came in for bloodwork and again, Dr. Gealow was super transparent about the results. They are also so accommodating to your pets needs. The staff here are absolutely the nicest! I have nothing but great things to say.
