The care that my animals have received has been the best I’ve ever experienced. They are so compassionate and they truly want to find the cause and help fix it. But what I love most is that they shoot you straight and give you the best options which is so comforting.

My husband and I brought our Great Dane, Waffles in for his glands and stomach issues.. I’m just going to start by saying.. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and very nice receptionist, Lauren. She is super sweet and friendly. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She made the check in, getting records and paperwork stuff super easy. We got back to the room and we were seen by Dr Mark Wachal. This is the first vet we have been to that didn’t make us feel stupid for asking questions. He answered politely without us feeling uncomfortable. He actually listened to us and didn’t cut us off. We left there feeling like he genuinely cared for our dog. We got a phone call this morning with some lab results. While it didn’t give us an answer, he was very very knowledgeable in the next steps. He didn’t just say “the test came back negative. Nothing to do now”. He gave us hope through multiple options on how to fix the issue. He didn’t just give us a temporary fix. He is trying to get us a permanent fix. The big thing for me is he asked us to keep checking in with progress over the next several weeks so that he can see what our next steps would be, if any. I’ve never in my 30 years of life been to a vet that makes me feel so comfortable, safe, and one that shows genuine care for a family member. Waffles isn’t just a dog. He’s our boy. He’s family. And Dr Wachal understands that. I’m so glad we found this place. I will definitely recommend Wachal Pet Health Center to everyone. And make sure to tell them they want to talk to Lauren and see Dr Wachal! (Not only was he concerned with Waffles. I’m 33 weeks pregnant and he made sure to tell me I don’t need the stress. If holding him is too much then I need to step away. He said it more politely than that. But it shows he not only cares for the animals that he sees. But also his customers as well. That’s RARE)
