We’ve had good experiences up until today, when we picked up our dog after surgery. My husband made a mistake and accidentally showed up 20 minutes early to pick up our dog. The person who helped him just released our dog with no request to wait until 8am and no after care instructions. The vet called a bit later to tell us he wasn’t supposed to be picked up yet and we asked why our dog was released before he was ready. The vet said he would check into it. He called back a little later to put all the blame on my husband and none on his staff for not knowing or following their own procedures. We can admit when we make a mistake (by showing up early) but the ultimate responsibility is on the vet clinic. The call back from the vet was rude and completely unnecessary. EDIT: thanks for your incredibly thorough and biased reply to my review. I heard the vet on the phone and he was rude. Instead of just saying maybe he had an off day you wrote a novel. Thanks for pointing out that my husband didn’t ask any follow up questions - how would he know what to ask??? He thought Dexter was free to go. More blaming… As I said before, most of our interactions at your clinic have been very positive. This one was very negative and the fact that you won’t own up to it means we won’t be back. Admitting you are wrong can sometimes be much more beneficial than defending a grumpy vet.

My dog injured herself. We called around to nearby clinics and this clinic got her in the same day. Everyone was great and comforting. I will be bringing back my pets.
